Der erste Schnee

Im Land "Frühwinter" angekommen. Ich fühle mich echt heimatlich und fast wohler als bei großer Sommerhitze. In wenigen Tagen sind es übrigens sechs volle Jahre, dass ich täglich - TÄGLICH!! - hier her komme und die Tiere versorge. Die Tiere sind ruhig und sanft, und die Arbeit ist erfrischend. Zu Hause prasselt ein Feuerchen im Kaminofen und alles ist halbwegs gut für den Winter vorbereitet - bis auf einige Kleinigkeiten, natürlich.

Wir haben ausreichend Heu und Stroh eingewintert, ein Sommer harte Arbeit!

Die Schafe warten, dass ich die hintere Tür öffne, dann können auch sie im Offen-Stall Heu  fressen.

    1. Yes, it is quite early, though in the higher regions often the first snow comes already in late October. The changing from autumn to early winter is always a miracle for me. How is your weather today?

    2. My weather is good, sunny and a little cold. Here all eyes are on the eastern coast . Big storm is coming soon.

    3. O, yes, I heared about the BIG storm!! Its all hours at the first point of the radio- and TV-news. I worry! My husband says, it will not reach you and my letter- friends in USA - O my God!!

  2. SNOW! How wonderful, Dori! We're expecting snow...some say a few inches, others say about 2 feet...only God knows -smile-.
    All my animals have food, shelter and water...I'm as ready as possible.
