  1. This is a very interesting image. I love the spirits.
Now this is really true. A etching teacher sent me yesterday an internet link to a page about old engravers. And when I searched more about them, I found a page with old prints about Alchemie - not really deep or serious work but I enjoyed looking at them, yesterday evening. ... Now look : here is Dori's alchemie. The best of all.
There is the ghost of an animal (deer or cow) in front of the alchemist, and there is a guiding spirit between the blue pig (I hope it is a pig!!) and the blue horse ... I see : the pig only has to turn and go through the gate which this white spirit is, to become the noble horse carrying a great Saint, Christ, I think, so beautiful ... riding towards his Father but looking back at us, saying : I'm never away.

On the photograph of the malerzimmer there is an amazing work with horses and a Saint (Francis?) on one of them and amazing mountains and Sun in a mysterious hazy lilac sky :-)

Also thanks for your comment touching the painting below. It is painted on a wooden board and stabil for outside.
